JLJ Real Estate

A regulated sole-director business needed a site that names its company number, ICO registration and redress-scheme membership on every page and survives being checked.

Scope
Design, build, legal-page drafting, deployment and handover
When
13 to 24 September 2026 · nine production releases
The opening frame: the headline “A regulated property business, live on its own domain.” above the live JLJ Real Estate home page.

The film could not play here. Everything it shows is written on the case page.

The problem

  • No live site. The build described in the handover had never been published.
  • Legal pages that could not go live because they were still full of blanks.
  • Her business email already ran on the same domain, with strict security settings that moving the site must not break.

What changed

  • Ready to be checkedCompany number, ICO registration and redress-scheme membership on every page, with a completed privacy notice, cookie statement, terms of use and complaints policy.
  • Her email kept workingHer live business email and its strict security records carried over unchanged when the site went live on her own domain.
  • From nothing to liveFrom no live site to nine pages on her own domain in eleven days, across nine releases.

What the client received

  • Nine pages live on her own domain in eleven days
  • A site that sets no cookies, so visitors never see a consent banner
  • Privacy notice, cookie statement and terms of use completed and published
  • The domain switched to the new site with her email working exactly as before
  • A brand kit of 14 files, published on her own domain

“I came to LUXD with nothing but a logo and a luxury concept. William provided an exceptional level of service throughout the entire process. He kept me consistently informed, communicated clearly at every stage, and made sure all amendments were discussed and agreed before proceeding. He focused on the end user and turned my vision into something even better than I expected. My website looks amazing now. I highly recommend working with LUXD.”

Speaking and peer mentoring · London

ADHD Andy

A speaker and ADHD peer mentor whose homemade Wix site had grown a page at a time, rebuilt as sixteen pages that tell one story. Launched on 28 September 2026, so there are no traffic figures yet.

Scope
Design, build, launch
When
Launched 28 September 2026
The opening frame: the headline “A homemade website, rebuilt from the ground up.” above the live ADHD Andy home page.

The film could not play here. Everything it shows is written on the case page.

The problem

  • A Wix site with eleven live pages and twelve items in the menu. In his recorded review he calls it “very basic”.
  • A head teacher on a phone could not tell in five seconds what Andy does, who for, or what it costs.
  • A Blog link in the main menu that led to a missing page.
  • A clothing shop with sixteen products, below the fold on a home page also trying to introduce Andy, explain ADHD science and sell four services.
  • On phones, the quote at the top of the home page was white on white. Nobody had reported it because nobody could see it.

What changed

  • Readable for everyoneThe hero quote on phones was white on white, so nobody could read it. It now reads at 15.6:1, and every button is big enough to tap.
  • Works on every screenBuilt for one-handed use on a phone. No sideways scrolling on any of the 16 pages, checked at twelve screen sizes from a small phone to a wide desktop.
  • No dead links from the old siteAll 11 old Wix addresses now land on the new pages, and crisis support is on every one of the 16 pages.

What the client received

  • Sixteen pages designed and written from Andy’s own documents and recordings, then built and launched
  • Safeguarding built in: the disclaimer, crisis numbers, the age limit on the addiction talk wherever it is listed, and DBS and insurance details on request
  • A launch check at twelve screen sizes that turned “you can see the problems” into a list, and found three problems nobody had reported
  • An enquiry form that goes straight to Andy’s inbox, so a reply reaches the enquirer directly, with spam filtered out without a puzzle to solve, and enquiries handled inside the UK and EEA
  • The domain moved away from Wix and secured, with all eleven old addresses sent to new pages
  • A faster form service turned down, because it kept data outside the UK and EEA and would have made the privacy policy untrue

“Prior to working with Will, our website was very basic. It was a homemade Wix website, and Will has come in and completely redeveloped our website and our brand, and has been extremely professional, been in regular contact and delivered exactly what we asked him. Fantastic website. Thanks, Will.”

“Working with Will for our website design has been absolutely fantastic. It was very clear that he understood our brief, and he used his design skills to advise on the layout and the structure, making sure that we had a call to action on every section. He set out clear timelines for completion, and he always delivered ahead of these. Wherever we had some feedback, he took it well, and he made the changes quickly, giving advice where it was necessary. We were very happy with our professional-looking website, and it really sets the tone for the future of our business.”

What you get, what William needs, and who owns it

The scope is written down before you pay anything, so you know what you are getting.

Included in every website

  • A layout from the LUXD design system, in your brand, that works on phones and desktops.
  • Click-to-call and one contact form, tested before launch.
  • Basic search setup: page titles, descriptions, headings, sitemap and indexing.
  • Launch checks, a form test and a handover.
  • A 30-day warranty: anything in the agreed build that does not work is fixed at no cost.

Not included

  • The hosting, domain and software bills. You pay these directly, at the provider’s own price, and the costs are confirmed in your written scope.
  • Original copywriting, a new brand identity, photography or filmed video.
  • Publishing to your social accounts, managing them, or paid ads.
  • More than five pages, more locations, an online shop, bookings, automation, bespoke design or taking over an existing site. Those are scoped and quoted through LUXD Studio.
  • There is no guarantee of search rankings, leads or revenue.

Timeline

  • A written scope within two working days.
  • The launch date, agreed in the written scope once your content and access are in.

What William needs from you

  • Your logo, or the name set as text, and your business details.
  • The services and prices you want shown, and usable photographs.
  • Short text for each page, up to about 300 words.
  • Access to your domain, and one person who makes the decisions.

Payment, ownership and leaving

  • You pay nothing until you have approved the written scope.
  • A 50% deposit books your build slot. The balance and the first three months of service are due at launch.
  • Your accounts stay in your name. The finished site is handed over once the build is paid in full.
  • After three months, the service runs month to month, with 30 days’ notice to stop.

The partnership

A site nobody looks after quietly stops working.

The contact form stops sending and nobody notices for a month. Your opening hours are wrong all through Christmas. Nothing new goes out to your customers for months. For a fixed monthly fee, the site is looked after and you get fresh promotional content to share.

William builds your website and keeps supporting it after launch.

What’s the catch at £499?

No office, no sales team, no account manager between you and the person building it. One Page is tightly scoped: one page, up to six sections, your own words and photos. You are paying for the work, not the overhead.

Who owns it afterwards?

Your domain, hosting and software accounts are in your name from the start. The finished site is handed over to you once the build is paid in full. Anything licensed from someone else is named in your written scope.

What happens after launch?

The monthly service keeps the site working and gives you fresh promotional content to share: videos, graphics and captions, depending on your package. You deal with William directly.

How fast can it actually go live?

It depends on the size of the site and how quickly your content and approvals arrive. The launch date is agreed in your written scope, and the work is done to it.

What does the monthly service cover?

Hosting managed, uptime monitored and backups kept, your contact form checked every month, and small content changes made for you. Every package also includes promotional content: a video a quarter on One Page; a video, a graphic and two captions each month on Business Website; and twice that, plus one Google profile post and one small local search task a month, on Local Visibility.

Is the monthly service optional?

Not for the first three months: those are paid at launch. After that it runs month to month, with 30 days’ notice to stop.

Who pays for hosting and software?

You do, directly, at the provider’s own price. The costs are confirmed in your written scope before you approve anything.

Can I start small and upgrade later?

Yes. Within 90 days of launch, a One Page can become a Business Website for £496 more to build and £100 more a month, because what you paid counts towards it. A Business Website can move to Local Visibility within 30 days of launch for £250 more to build and £100 more a month.

What if I need something the packages don’t cover?

Request a custom quote through LUXD Studio: more pages or locations, an online shop, bookings, automation, bespoke design or a takeover of an existing site. The scope and price are agreed before work starts.

Do you post the videos for me?

No. You get the files and ready-to-post captions; publishing, managing social accounts and paid ads are not included. On Local Visibility, William posts one update a month to your Google profile.

What do you need from me?

Your logo, business details, the services and prices you want shown, usable photographs, short text for each page and one person who makes the decisions. Content and access need to arrive before the build slot starts.

Is there a warranty?

Yes. For 30 days after launch, anything in the agreed build that does not work is fixed at no cost, without using your edit allowance.

How do I reach William?

Directly, by email or phone. You deal with the person who built your site, and a broken site or a failed contact form comes first.

Tell William what needs to be clearer.

A few lines about your business are enough. A written scope follows within two working days, and you pay nothing until you approve it.
